DJB in the Community
TOTAL RAISED FOR CHARITY
£11,655
across four fundraising challenges
At DJB, supporting our community goes beyond the barber’s chair. From endurance challenges to cutting hair around the clock, we’ve been raising money for charities and causes that matter to us. Here’s what we’ve achieved, with the support of everyone who donated and cheered us on.

OCTOBER 2026 · £1,180 RAISED
24 Hours of Haircuts for KEMP Hospice
A full day and night of cutting hair for a great cause. Our 24-hour barberthon raised £1,180 for KEMP Hospice, bringing fundraising into the barber’s chair. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and helped make every hour count.

OCTOBER 2024 · £7,545 RAISED
Taking on the Channel Swim
Our Channel swim challenge raised £7,545 in support of The Basement Project and My Black Dog. It was our biggest fundraiser to date, and every donation helped turn a demanding challenge into meaningful support for these two charities.

APRIL 2025 · £1,890 RAISED
Three Peaks for Lifesaving Equipment
Our Three Peaks challenge raised £1,890 towards purchasing essential lifesaving equipment for Well Way Rehab Centre. With a clear purpose behind every step, the challenge was a chance to support the centre and the people who rely on it.

APRIL 2022 · £1,040 RAISED
500,000 Metres for CALM
Throughout April 2022, Declan took on the challenge of rowing 500,000 metres on a rowing machine. His efforts raised £1,040 for CALM—the Campaign Against Living Miserably—supporting the charity’s suicide prevention work.
THANK YOU
To everyone who has donated, taken part or encouraged us along the way: thank you. You’ve helped us raise £11,655, and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together.
